N.O.W was amazing. Nikki, Jason, Casey, and Lara shared some scriptures that really helped us get into worshiping God. The Worship team was awesome and it was probably one of the best Wednesdays ever. Thanks Austin's mom for bringing us some pizza and don't forget the Community Fall Festival this weekend! You better be there!

Last Wednesday...Testimony
Let me just say that Youth at Planet Old School was ROCKIN last Wednesday night… We played a crazy game that did not make any kind of sense, at one point everyone started barking like a dog!!! Not sure what was going on there…lol!
The “GBF praise band that sounds good” led us in some great worship allowing us to praise our Lord in a mighty way…
Then to top off the night Jason and Nikki shared their testimony, telling us about their life as child, when they discovered that needed a Savior and how God has worked in and through their lives since that time.
Don't forget, THIS WEEK...N.O.W.(Night of Worship) and FOOD!!!! That's right PIZZA
Also, Jason and Nikki may have sparked an interest in some of you to share YOUR testimony! The following is some information I found (Christianity.about.com) about what a testimony is, and showing how to write your own.
First and foremost - remember - there is power in your testimony! Revelation 12:11 says we overcome our enemy be the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.
A three-point approach is very effective in communicating your personal testimony. The outline focuses on before you trusted Christ, how you surrendered to him, and the difference since you've been walking with him. Before:
Simply tell what your life was like before you surrendered to Christ. What were you searching for before coming to know Christ? What was the key problem, emotion, situation or attitude you were dealing with? What motivated you? What were your actions? How did you try to satisfy your inner needs? (Examples of inner needs are loneliness, fear of death, insecurity. Possible ways to fill those needs include work, money, drugs, relationships, sports, sex.)
How:
How were you converted? Simply tell the events and circumstances that caused you to consider Christ as the solution to your searching. Take time to identify the steps that brought you to the point of trusting Christ. Where were you? What was happening at the time? What people or problems influenced your decision? Since:
How has your life in Christ made a difference? How has his forgiveness impacted you? How have your thoughts, attitudes and emotions changed? Share how Christ is meeting your needs and what a relationship with him means to you now.
Tips to Remember
Stick to the point. Your conversion and new life in Christ should be the main points.
Be specific. Include events, genuine feelings and personal insights that clarify your main point. This makes your testimony tangible - something others can relate to.
Be current. Tell what is happening in your life with God now, today.
Be honest. Don't exaggerate or dramatize your life for effect. The simple truth of what God has done in your life is all the Holy Spirit needs to convict others of their sin and convince them of his love and grace.

New Series: SKEPTIC
Let's be honest, our culture is skeptic of everything, and Christianity is no exception. Our students are either skeptic, or living in a world of skeptics. Either way we need to put to rest some doubts and equip others to do the same. Join us on Wednesday nights as we seek to address difficult issues regarding Christianity.
Ever had these thoughts?
• Christianity just seems like a way to make sure no one is having any fun, and God is the ultimate fun police.
• Surely there can't just ONE WAY to God!
• If God is loving there wouldn’t be a hell.
Join us for these and more, Wednesday nights 6:30 -7:45
